We lift up to you, O God, those who are in our community who are in need of your strength and guidance. Be with Lee McDaniel to find perseverance until that day to be freed. Comfort those with brokenness of body and spirit to find healing to begin with hope in the New Year. Guide this church and its resourceful people to embrace this interim period of ministry and mission with confidence that when we are rooted and grounded in love, all things are possible with you.
We welcome Marty and others to this community of disciples to do justice, act kindly, and walk humbly with God and with each other. We pray in the name of Christ who in his resurrection from the grave in the forgiveness of sins that a new day in you, dear Lord, is here and forevermore. Amen.

Through Christ we have received grace upon grace.
