Our help is in the name of God, who made heaven and earth. Let us pray. With great joy we come before you, O God. We praise you for your marvelous works among your people, but especially we praise you for the life and work of our late brother, Gordon N. Chan who served his community, his church and loved his family in a mighty way. As we celebrated today the renaming of the Main Post Office in Gordon Chan’s name, we will always remember how you have touched his life that has made such a difference in the lives of others. Bless this food that we are about to eat and give us the spirit to go on with life that is worthy of your grace and mercy. In the name of God, our Redeemer who has made us one, we pray. Amen.
