1906 SF Earthquake and Fire.
Current Building

After the 1906 SF Earthquake and Fire, the second church home was rebuilt in 1908 with salvaged “clinker bricks” featuring glassy surfaces created by the intense heat.

Installed in 1908, the round eight-petal design with Jesus the Good Shepherd in the center symbolizes the resurrection and God’s continuing presence in the world.

The Centennial Anniversary commemorated the front window in the tradition of Chinese landscape paintings. The Chinese inscription reads, “Come…accept the water of life.” (Rev. 22:17)
