Children SS Teachers are the Best!
You can’t do anything wrong.
Everything you say has authority and wisdom.
You are usually bigger.
Unlike public school teachers, SS teachers are always nice.
They mix-up lemonade and set out cookies and chips.
They take students to the playground and make sure no one gets hurt.
They usually find a way to make something interesting out of anything.
Unbeknown to them, little boys and girls dream about growing up faster so that they
can date you!
What they say, they say it from their hearts.
They teach and guide week after week without getting paid.
When students are absent, they don’t send a truant officer, but they send a warm fuzzy
postcard that says, “We miss you!”
SS teachers don’t give out grades. They give out God’s grace.
They pray for the safety and health of each child every day.
They know each of them by their names and celebrate their birthdays.
Perhaps, the most important reason why Children SS teachers are the best is that they
can see a little of the face of God on the little happy faces of their students.
I still can remember my Children SS teachers: Mrs. Norman, Mrs. Wyatt, Mrs. Jordan. They shared their faith with me so that I can now have a mature faith in the Lord. You are sharing and passing on your Christian faith to our children through your thoughtful and dedicated teaching. May you continue to experience the presence of God through your teaching ministry. I thank God for you for raising up a new generation of young disciples.
