Grace
Let us pray.
How powerful is your name, O God, in all the earth. Angels and saints, prophets and apostles are singing your song. We add our voices to their company and offer you this day humble praise for the 50 years of a covenant well-kept. Bless Jimmy and Nancy as they witness to the joy of married life, the simplicity of promise and the grace of growing old together. Bless this wonderful display of abundance to nourish our lives and our spirit as we fellowship around these tables as your faithful people. We pray for good health and long life according to your plan for our living, trusting in the Lord that on the day of resurrection, Christ is risen so that we may have eternal life. We thank you, O God for what you have brought together, let no one tear apart. And may this celebration be a little bit of heaven on earth be yours. In the name of Christ Jesus, we pray. Amen.
