Call to Worship<\/p>\n\n\n\n
L\u2014The grace of God has appeared among us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A child has been born, bringing God\u2019s salvation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
P\u2014We have seen anew the light of God\u2019s love.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n How splendid is God\u2019s gift to us!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n L\u2014Sing to our God a joyous new song.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Sing to God, all nations of the earth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n P\u2014Great is our God and greatly to be praised.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Ascribe to God the glory that is due.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n L\u2014Let the heavens be glad as the earth rejoices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Glory to God in the highest heaven.<\/p>\n\n\n\n P\u2014The child of Bethlehem will help us know God.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n We will gather to contemplate what God has done.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Invitation to the Offering\u200b\u200b<\/p>\n\n\n\n All the good things in life that we enjoy, all the relationships that enrich our lives, all the experiences we have been privileged to encounter are tokens of God\u2019s greatest gift to us. God has entered human flesh. God comes to us, offering life in all its fullness. Our offerings are one way to accept these gifts with great thanksgiving.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Offertory Prayer<\/p>\n\n\n\n Gracious God, your claims on us fill us with awe. You call us once more to be a holy people, heirs of hope, conveyors of good news. As we return to you some of the riches you entrusted to us, let our offerings be a down payment on our recommitment of life itself to carrying out the mission to which you call us. In Christ\u2019s name, we pray.
